Determining Need for School-based OT/PT Services Under IDEA
When is OT or PT the appropriate related service to address the needs of a student? Based on a review of state and local education agency practice guidelines, Carlo will discuss 2 procedural requirements and decision-making questions that the IEP team can utilize when determining need for related services under IDEA. Carlo will then walk the participants through clinical reasoning using a case study.
